FAQs
Parents should read these FAQs to gain clear, detailed answers about how the programme works, what to expect, how it addresses their child’s unique needs, along with timings.

1. How can your programme help my child?
My programme is uniquely tailored to address the chronic stress response, a root cause of many chronic health conditions. Through knowledge, strategies, and practical techniques, I empower children and young people to regain their health and maintain their well-being long-term.

2. Will you understand what my child is going through?
Absolutely. As someone who has experienced chronic fatigue myself, I deeply empathize with your child’s challenges. I approach each case with compassion and understanding, creating a supportive environment where your child feels seen, heard, and valued.

3. Will we see progress? Is recovery really possible?
Yes, recovery is achievable. Every child’s journey is unique, but I focus on setting realistic goals, celebrating milestones, and fostering hope. Together, we’ll create a path toward better health and brighter days for your child and family.

4. What treatments do you use and are they safe for my child?
I use safe, non-invasive, research-backed approaches tailored to children and teens. My methods are designed to enhance physical, emotional, and psychological well-being without causing harm or worsening symptoms.

5. What makes you the right person to help with CFS or Long COVID?
As the UK’s only child specialist for complex chronic illnesses, I bring extensive experience and evidence-based techniques. Parents consistently report seeing significant improvements in their children’s health and happiness after working with me.

6. What methods do you use?
I teach breathing exercises, self-coaching, visualisations, brain rehearsal, and thought management techniques. These tools help form new, healthy neural pathways, promoting physical and emotional recovery.

7. What sets your approach apart?
I offer a deeply personalised, expert-led approach—not an app, AI, or generic course. My focus extends beyond recovery, equipping your child with lifelong skills to overcome obstacles and thrive in all areas of life.

8. Will the treatment plan be personalised?
Yes! Every child’s plan is tailored to their unique needs, energy levels, and recovery stage. We’ll adapt the approach as they progress, ensuring their journey is as effective and supportive as possible.

9. How long does the programme take?
There are 2 ways to complete the programme. There is no difference in success rate. 1:1 online over 14 weeks (1 hour per week) which includes the preparation and training phases, or for those that want to go quicker, online as part of a small group of 2 - 3, over four to five weeks. Both options are followed by on-going support during reintegration back into normal life. Additional help is always available if needed.
